At Brosnan Transport Australia we’re proud of where we’ve come from, where we’re going and where we’ve taken our customers along the way.
Founded by our director Colin Brosnan in 2007, our family-run business is based in Roma Qld and began small by providing transport services for livestock throughout the Western Downs. We might have started small, but we soon established a strong reputation in our local community and the industries we served. As our reputation and experience grew, so did our vision for Brosnan Transport.
Spotting a pivotal growth and diversification opportunity, Colin’s son-in-law Jason Jorgensen joined our team. He brought years of expertise in business management and a robust background in truck driving. Jason soon stepped in as our Operations Manager, and over time, Jason and his wife Grace took on partnership standing in the business. Together Colin and Jason reimagined our company’s future – and this has led to what Brosnan Transport is today.
Today we’re more than just a transport company. We specialise in bulk haulage solutions (particularly during the critical grain harvest seasons!) and provide custom integrated freight management services all year round and Australia wide. Our team is dedicated to excellence, innovation and, above all, the satisfaction of each of our customers.

Jason will provide you with a custom quote and timeline for your specific needs, usually within the same conversation. Pricing is dependent on the load type and distance to travel, and is typically quoted per tonne for grain commodities and per kilometre for general freight.

At Brosnan Transport we specialise in bulk shipments of agricultural commodities, livestock and general freight which means we can handle a huge range of goods. We operate a diverse fleet including PBS road trains, AB-triples, semi-trailer and B-double combinations, with grain tippers, flat tops, drop decks and stock crates, allowing us to provide expert loading efficiency and carrying capacity.
Our team offers full haulage and harvest logistic solutions during peak harvest seasons. We also have a team of fully accredited subcontractors to allow us to expertly execute even the largest contracts with ease and efficiency.
